Printer Tips |
|
• Normal preventative maintenance can greatly
increase the life expectancy of your printer and reduce the chance
of breakdown. • Store printer paper in a cool, dry place.
Damp paper could be the cause of printer jams. |
 |
Cartridge Tips |
• Don't open the cartridge door, or touch the
drum inside.
• If toner is fading across the page or if you are getting low
on toner, you can redistribute the toner within the cartridge. Pull
the cartridge out of the machine, shake gently, and replace.
• Always keep a spare cartridge available for each printer in
the office.
• We recommend using the toner cartridge within one year of
purchase. Better yet, use it within six months of purchase since the
performance will deteriorate over time. When you get a new delivery,
remember to rotate stock, using the oldest cartridge first. Store
at room temperature. Any toner stored in sunlight, or extreme heat
or cold, will have diminished performance. It is best to keep the
toner cartridge sealed in its bag until ready to use.
